Kids In Need Mission "is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed in the classroom by providing free school supplies to students in need throughout Minnesota and through our partnership with our parent organization, through the country!"
At the event, our volunteers will learn about their organization and mission, write notes of encouragement to students throughout Minnesota and help with what ever the organization needs done at that time to get ready for school starting. We can host up to 40 volunteers for that event.
Children welcome age 5yrs and over with a parent.
Physical Requirements may include: Lifting, bending, standing, walking. Accommodations can be made for some limitations. Please specify any limitations when registering.
*Volunteers will want to dress in cool clothing, as it can get a bit warm in their warehouse, and wear closed toed shoes.
**They also ask all our volunteer groups to bring in a donation of school supplies to keep our Minnesota Resource Center stocked and ready for teachers! This item will be announced closer to the date… Stay tuned!
