WoMN Strong is recruiting volunteers to help with the cleaning-up of the Anoka Veteran Housing Project's next undertaking: The Cottage For Homeless Veteran Women.
The Anoka Veteran Housing Project has fought to lease, re-purpose, and restore three historic buildings within the former Anoka State Hospital campus. The first cottage for men is nearing completion. The next building is dedicated to female vets. All of this is being done through generous donations and hours of volunteers' time.
We will be doing a lot of dirty work inside and possibly outside, so dress appropriately.
